About the Team: Our Advisory Practice is aligned to implementation of Growth Pipeline as a Service value proposition. The advisory team supports the client journey through all the stages of the growth cycle form identifying the opportunity universe, evaluation, Go-To-Market strategies, planning & implementation and monitoring and optimization Overview: The Head of Advisory is a senior leadership position for our Japan office. The candidate will have ownership for developing and managing country specific advisory business. This role involves leading a cross functional team of advisors who provide strategic and implementation advice to clients. Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the Head of Advisory include, but not limited: Developing and implementing a strategic plan for the Advisory division that aligns with the Organization's and Country specific goals and objectives. Developing a revenue target and delivery plan for the advisory business. Project delivery in local language (especially Government projects). Lead and manage advisory projects as required. Identify potential clients (Government and Private Sector) across Practice Areas, business development support including client engagement, proposal development and presentation etc. Managing the day-to-day operations of the Advisory division for the team, including staffing, project management and resource allocation. Building and maintaining relationships with clients and ensuring that the Advisory team delivers high-quality service and advice. Leading the Advisory team in conducting research, analysis, and assessment of various business issues, and providing advisory and recommendations based on findings. Providing thought leadership and staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues that may impact clients or the organization. Collaborating with other departments and within the organization, to ensure that the Advisory division supports the overall strategic direction of the organization. Ensuring that the Advisory team adheres to ethical and professional standards, and maintaining the reputation of the organization. Qualifications: The Head of Advisory must have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of business strategy and operations. A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is typically required, along with 8-10 years of experience in management consulting, advisory services, or a similar role. A master's degree in a related field, such as business administration or finance, may also be preferred. One most be bilingual; proficient in both English and Japanese languages.
