We're looking for a National Sea Logistics LCL Manager to join our team Your Role Your primary objective is to develop, implement and drive the local product + business development strategy forour less than full container load product (LCL).
You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key
objectives. Your Responsibilities
- To drive sales + key account managers in developing LCL opportunities, regularly joining sales calls.
- To work with the customer care + operational care teams (CCL + OCC) ensure the dedication + expertise to
meet customer demands is deployed. - To ensure the profitability of the product, proactively following up on discrepancies.
- To upload + maintain LCL selling rates within our designated system and support our pricing
department with quotations, in particular with tailor-made selling rates for important opportunities. - To negotiate trucking + container freight station (CFS) rates according to optimize the yield of the product,
with the best service provider available according to our standards. - To provide regular LCL product training to all colleagues engaged in activities relating to your portfolio.
- To develop tailor-made solutions for customers based on the product portfolio.
- To maintain relationships with co-loaders.
- To optimize yields by managing cargo flows via the best transportation option(s).
- Strong leadership skills + knowledge of the product
- Customer + network relationships will be the key to your success.
- Knowledge across LCL operations
- Min 3 years in related field
- Knowledge and experience managing P/L
- Poses top notch negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to converse fluently in English both written and verbal
- Advance MS Office skill�
