Defines processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility. Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes. Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses. Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems. Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives. Survey Tip: Exclude field technicians, engineers and personnel primarily involved in installation, maintenance, modification and repair of equipment. If 75 percent of the time is spent performing a specific engineering function, use that family for your job matches.What you'll be doingThe role of Systems Design/Architecture Engineer is responsible for designing systems architecture. This position conducts system design activities to ensure that architectural solutions meet technical and functional requirements.
